Before joining Hunter Search Global as a Senior Consultant within the Healthcare Division, Robert spent more than four years caring for patients across both physical and mental healthcare settings.

His journey began with a simple goal, learning how to care for his grandmother. What started with CNA school quickly evolved into a passion for helping people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Most recently, Robert served as a Charge Nurse on a psychiatric and addiction treatment unit, where he worked alongside physicians and care teams to support individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Prior to behavioral health, he gained valuable experience as an ICU nurse.

While patient care has always been at the center of his career, the people providing that care have left the biggest impression. Throughout his time in healthcare, Robert has witnessed incredible resilience, compassion, and dedication from his colleagues. He has also seen the realities of burnout, staffing shortages, long hours, and the emotional toll the profession can take on even the most resilient providers.

That firsthand experience is what led him to join Hunter Search Global as the Lead Senior Consultant within the Healthcare Division.

Robert believes healthcare professionals deserve the same level of support and advocacy that they provide to their patients every day. His approach to recruiting is rooted in empathy and genuine understanding of the challenges providers face day by day.

He has a particular passion for Behavioral Health, Mental Health, Addiction Medicine, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, and organizations serving underserved communities. These populations have shaped his career and continue to fuel his desire to connect healthcare professionals with meaningful opportunities.

Outside of work, Robert enjoys staying active in the gym, spending time with his two German Shepherds and his cat, George, watching and playing soccer, following football, exploring his interest in neuroscience, traveling, and spending time at the beach. Whether he’s on a hospital floor, a soccer pitch, or a shoreline somewhere, his focus remains the same; staying connected to the people and experiences that matter most.
